Nicole Medina: Lead Yoga Instructor

Nicole began her yoga journey in 2010 when she was 19 by practicing Surya Namaskara A and B every day for a year. Her intention with yoga began as a personal physical practice but as she continued with the practice she later realized it was much more.

In October 2014 she began practicing Ashtanga yoga, reigniting her curiosity for all things yoga. She enrolled in the JayaSeva teacher training, completing her 200 hour accreditation in February 2015. Nicole adopted not only the physical practice but also a change of diet and committing to practicing six days a week. Nicole is also certified in traditional Vedic Thai Massage. She has volunteered teaching yoga to kids and military personals. Her greatest aspiration is to help and guide others achieve their personal greatness with their practice. "I enjoy helping others in any way I can. As I deepened my practice I realized I wasn't alone in anything I did or experienced. There were moments of loneliness and hopelessness pursuing my dream but I realized this was my path and no one else could follow it with me. No one was living in my body, making my decisions and executing them. No matter what your path might be, go for it! Give it your all because what is the worst that can happen? Everything is an experience."  Nicole Medina.
